»Like a dream gently sweeping by«
STAYING AT THE GARDEN KINGDOM
Are you looking for something special?
Holiday homes of the Kulturstiftung DessauWörlitz
You are dreaming of spending a few spare days out in the open, under a starry sky, far away from any traffic noise, and at the same time experience culture, variety and exclusiveness? Then the Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz is the right place for you.
We offer the opportunity to spend a few relaxing days in the delightful ambience of historic buildings. The »Schlangenhaus«, the Elbe-Pavilion and the Eyserbeck-House are situated in the midst of the Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz – can there be a more beautiful opportunity anywhere to experience the unique harmony between nature and art? Prince Franz of Anhalt-Dessau surely would have answered this question with »no«.
The special charms of our holiday homes are due to their stylish and comfortable furnishings, which are supplemented by modern fittings. Our aim is to help the friends on the Garden Kingdom to appreciate nature and art. We have therefore deliberately not installed a telephone connection, TV and radio in our guest houses!
On foot or by bike you can explore the Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz through the extensive system of cycle paths and hiking trails. Discover the delightful meadows of the rivers Elbe and Mulde in the biosphere reserve which, like the Garden Kingdom, is under UNESCO protection. In and around Dessau you can enjoy the historic gardens and palaces with their precious art collections and, also, visit the world-famous Bauhaus buildings.
